A Sunset Pride Celebration is an official Miami Beach Pride event in association with the It Gets Better Project. The It Gets Better Project has affiliates on four continents, including a sizable presence in Latin America. Miami is a cultural and entertainment hub for Latin America, and a number of our affiliates are thriving in this region.
Join us at our 7th annual Miss Miami Beach Pride Pageant for scintillating performances from some of the fiercest drag queens ever known! Contestants will vie for one of the most covetable crowns in Miami Beach and up to $1,000 in cash and prizes.
Miami Beach Pride is a weeklong celebration with special events, social mixers, dance events, a VIP gala, an incredible 2-day festival and Parade. The mission of Miami Beach Pride is to bring together members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community, their friends, allies, and supporters in celebration of the unique spirit and culture of the LGBTQ community. Miami Beach Pride organizes free, safe, quality, mass-appeal events that are open to all, including the annual parade and festival, which features community booths and expo areas, stages with entertainment, food and drink vendors and family-safe play areas.
The third annual tribute will showcase buildings throughout Miami-Dade County in rainbow-colored lights to honor and pay tribute to the victims, families, and friends of the Pulse nightclub shooting.
Miami Beach Pride will once again pay tribute to the victims, families, and friends of the Pulse nightclub shooting through their third annual “Pride Lights the Night” event produced by Lincoln Road Bid. 2019 will be the 3rd Annual “Flip the Switch” and has become well known throughout the community. Light the Night’s goal is to light as many buildings in greater Miami in rainbow colors and graphics or flags to show support and solidarity for the LGBTQ community.
